Wake Up America!

You people haven't heard anything yet! Here in Mingo County, West Virginia, the tail end of everything, my child was removed from our home Wednesday evening just because the CPS worker - get this now - "heard" from somebody that my wife is bi-polar.

My wife has never been diagnosed as bi-polar but the stupid system will not even listen to her. They tell me that I can see her (my daughter) all I want and go anywhere I want with her – but I must keep her from my wife.

What kind of system is this? Neither my wife nor I have ever spanked our child (she is a female age 10). We punish her by grounding -- it's effective with our child. There is no chance of any violence in our home.

I was a cop for years in the past but am currently performing a different job by choice. I know there must be something we can do. We have an attorney working the case but this is something that should have never happened. I ask you people to stand up for our rights.

I'm starting to think we live in a country that doesn't abide by the Declaration of Independence but simply hides behind it. Good luck to anybody who has to deal with these jerks. I will fight these idiots tooth and nail and bring my daughter back home to our family. This has caused my wife and I to come close to having a nervous breakdown. Just because of an assumption, these people jumped to conclusions and took our daughter. Wake up America -- before it's to late! The next thing before you know it they will be trying to tell us when we can use the bathroom!

I know the feeling...I live in Wetzel Co. in WV and my children were removed last March for false allegations! My advice is to fight! Read up on all CPS and Fostor Care policies and procedures...if you know their policies you can use it against them. WV doesn't follow their own policies at all!!! They can't take a child out of a home because a worker "heard" your wife is bi-polar....many parents ARE bi-polar and raise their childen! They are discriminating against you and your wife! May god bless you and keep you safe...I will keep your family in my prayers...

Even if you wife was bipolar there is medications that makes you function normally. What is there problem. That really makes me mad they take your child. Leave my grandsons with their abusive father even though we had pictures of faded brusies. What is wrong with this system. What can we do to get it changed. I am so sorry for you. I am hurting too. Just for a different reason because of a judge and CPS.

This type of false allegation is a prime example of the pretentions that we face by the system to use anything they can to take our children and harm them. Day after day we hear of cases where children are pumped with drugs for "disorders" such as ADD, ADHD, Bi-Polar, etc. yet, they dare to say that a parent is unfit? Does this mean that they are populating their database for when these children grown up and have children of their own? Afterall, a "respected" counselor, appointed by DSS, found reason to believe the drugs were necessary when the child was a minor.

I agree, WAKE UP AMERICA! The system is out of control and needs to be stopped. If the IRS can be, then DSS can be too. Please, any of you that have legal experience, please join this cause. Help us to help ourselves. Too many of us are caught in this system due to our own ignorance of how to fight the system. We beg you, please help us to save our children from this evilness.

We are going through a similar thing in Loudoun County, Virginia! My daughter gave birth recently and asked to get back on medication for depression and bi-polar disorder because she was concerned about developing postpartum depression and wanted to prevent that happening. She was concerned about all of the stories you hear of women with postpartum depression hurting their kids. Just because of this, CPS now claims she is having thoughts of hurting her baby (she is not) and we have to supervise her at all times with the baby.

My boyfriend just had his 13 year old son removed from his care..during football practice infront of all his friends etc the son was kicking and screaming because he did not want to be forced to go with his mother (my boyfriends ex wife)but the police enforced it and threatened to throw my boyfriend in jail because he was making an issue out of it. His ex put up a protective order against him and now he is devistated and without his child of whom the mother has not up to this point made any effort to regularly visit. In my opinion the law just assisted this woman in kidnapping!
